Economic and Social Value of UK FRS - Phase One

There have been a series of reports on the Cost of the Fire and Rescue Service published by The Home Office, but there has never been a data-led equivalent assessment of the value the Fire and Rescue Services contribute to their communities.

It is the understanding of the NFCC that this Economic and Social Value Report is a world first in applying careful statistical analysis to FRS activities to develop a methodology to generate the value of FRS contribution. Phase I uses England data only, and the data of the devolved administrations will form Phase II of the report.
