Understand:

  • The considerations for safe and effective access to transport incidents
  • The hazards associated with approaching incidents involving transport systems
  • When rendezvous points (RVPs) or strategic holding areas may be required
  • How to interpret location markers for different incident types
  • How to identify access points for rail incidents
  • When it is suitable to approach the scene without audible warning devices or flashing lights

  • Identify suitable access routes and RVPs using SSRI
